Being a Nebraska native, I’m no stranger when it comes to tornados. This tornado, just a couple miles north of Gillette, never touched the ground and eventually disapated.

Each place has their very own traditions. Like this woman who’s racing her moped, which would top about 35 mph, for 30 miles. Afterwards, all the racers lounged in the shade, feasted on picnic food and drank away the evening with good cheer.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell people the beauty of the openness of Wyoming. I’m now living in the Powder River Basin. Perhaps this astonishing, big sky will let you know how it is.

After many years of having the luxury to resist an easy eye-candy shot in my early years, I made this for the paper of hotel construction. I was in desperate need of some art for the front. Eye candy, the worthless two-second understanding of an image with absolutely no complexity, emotion or worth, is seemingly becoming my friend in the hunt for art.
