Trying out a new method of presenting an image. It was rather challenging to pull this off.
Remember this . . . the darkroom: where magic happened, creativity flowed, chemicals stewed and friendships grew. Here is a photo I made for the Daily Nebraskan. It was at the art department darkroom, where I was a stranger. Since I worked and ran the journalism darkroom, that was my preferred place to get dirty with chemicals.
How I wish the kids getting into photography today shared the same experience that only a darkroom could offer.
Over the course of the past year, I’ve been making images of myself. For my black and white art photography class this semester I decided to do a series of self portraits trying to explain the way I currently feel about certain things in my life. Each image is titled.
