Places I've Caved: Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Colorado and Mexico. My main interest in caving, beyond the curiosity of exploration and skill of using ropes underground, is the aspect of photography. I will post the best of my images here in the near future. As of late, I have also taken up an interest in surveying, or the mapping, of caves. I am currently attempting to learn the art of sketching. A regular volunteer service I provide to the caving community is the develpoment and maintenance of two websites. The first is my main club, the Front Royal Grotto, for which I have been Webmaster for two years. The second has been much more of a challenge: the National Speleological Society's safety and techniques pages have been in my care. |
